WCS
Profile: Westbury Christian School (WCS) is a
private, Christian, co-ed, K3 through 12 school system.
While WCS is a church of Christ educational institution,
it is open to students of all faiths, nationalities and
ethnic origins. WCS boasts students from many nationalities
and 11 foreign countries. Students at WCS learn how to
live righteously while engaged in diverse social and athletic
activities and challenging academic programs. The current enrollment
at WCS is 515. This reflects
a student/faculty ratio of 12:1. WCS is located in the
southwest area of Houston and has been serving children
from across the globe for nearly 30 years.
WCS Mission Statement: Westbury
Christian School exists in order to provide each student
with the opportunity to acknowledge and respond through
faith to the word of God while participating in an educational
program, which stresses academic, social, emotional and
physical development.
WCS Faculty and Staff: Westbury Christian
School employs 80 full time faculty and staff. All WCS teachers
are committed to providing a challenging academic program
in which Christian values and ethics are instilled. Every
administrator, classroom teacher, coach and staff member
exemplify Christian leadership that emanates to WCS students.
