(May 26, 2006) The graduating class of '06 was the largest in WCS history. Sixty-four young men and women were awarded their high school diplomas in front of a standing-room only audience at the Westbury Christian School gymnasium. After the faculty and senior processional, senior James Ewing led the Pledge of Allegiance followed by the invocation by senior Brandon Smith.
Dr. David Lacey, Upper School Administrator and Principal, announced the selection of Jordan Hall and Amber Glenn as Mr. and Miss WCS 2006 to much applause. The salutatory address was given by Paola Estrada followed by the senior class Bible presentation by seniors Jeffrey Martin and Philmon Baby. Senior Lindsey Calder had the honor of the valedictory address. The graduation address was given by Mr. David Yasko, Pulpit Minister of Westbury Church of Christ.
The presentation of diplomas and Bibles was conducted by Dr. David Lacey; Mr. Robert McCloy, WCS Executive Administrator; Dr. Wendle Smith, President of the WCS Board of Directors; and, Mr. Bill Bradshaw, Elder of Westbury Church of Christ.
