(April 7, 2006)We were blessed with an awesome day for the Jog-A-Thon! The kids had a lot of fun running/jogging/walking and drinking lots of Gatorade! Many parent volunteers helped to make the Jog-A-Thon a success. Notably, Sharon Endler, mother of 7th grader Andrew Endler, put a lot of excitement into the jog by motivating, joking and interacting with the joggers.
According to Kelly Braun, event coordinator, “I want to thank all parents and students who participated in the jog. We had more participants this year than any year before.” Over 240 students and staff jogged for 30 minutes (the little ones for 20 minutes). Keep your eye of the jog board for students who qualify for rewards. The 2 iPod drawings will be held in May.
