WCS Graduation '05
(Friday May 27) Hundreds of family, friends and guests filled the WCS gymnasium to witness and celebrate the graduation of 46 WCS seniors. The salutatory address was delivered by Amy Fitzpatrick. Andrew Long gave the valedictory address. The graduation address was given by Houston's own Greg Hurst, news anchor at Channel 11 News.
One highlight was the announcement of Mr. and Miss WCS - Andrew Long and Jillian Florence! Another was the presentation of flowers by the seniors to their moms. Mr. Ken Harmon, an elder at Westbury Church of Christ, presented each graduate with a Bible, saying that all the truth and guidance that the graduates need in their lives can be found in God's word. Mr. Robert McCloy, WCS Executive Administrator, concluded the ceremony with the recognition of special guests and friends.
