WCS Board of Trustees Names New Executive Administrator
(May 2007) Westbury Christian School Board of Trustees has named its new Executive Administrator. At a recent chapel service, Mr. Leallen Smith, President of the Board, announced Mr. Greg Glenn, who has served as WCS Athletic Director for 14 years, as successor to Robert O. McCloy who has been the Executive Administrator for the past 17 years.
This past December, Robert O. McCloy, the Executive Director of Westbury Christian School, announced his retirement. Subsequently, the WCS Board of Trustees began a search to fill this position. From a pool of several well-qualified applicants, the Board unanimously selected Greg Glenn. Mr. Smith said, “We are happy and we are blessed by God to have Mr. Glenn in this role at Westbury Christian. The Board would like to thank all of you for prayers and support for Greg Glenn. It is our greatest hope and belief Mr. Glenn will have a very successful tenure as Executive Director of Westbury Christian School.”
In accepting the position Mr. Glenn stated, “Mr. McCloy has served God through Westbury Christian School in such an effective way over the years that he leaves big shoes to fill. I am trusting in God to use this transition as a step forward to build on the strong foundation that has already been laid.”
Mr. Glenn received a spontaneous standing ovation of approval from the student body when the announcement was made.
