Always on, so the site works safely
- WP Engine and Cloudflare host and protect our site. Adobe Fonts, Font Awesome and jsDelivr supply our fonts, icons and a small code library, and Vimeo plays the background videos on some pages.
- Google reCAPTCHA keeps spam out of some forms. Our forms run on WPForms here on our site, HubSpot for event registrations, Bloomerang with Stripe for gifts, and Square for payments. What you enter goes to the school and the service handling your request. A few forms save what you type, even if you leave early, so you can finish later and our staff can help.
Analytics, only if you allow it
- Google Analytics, through Google Site Kit and Google Tag Manager, shows us which pages are visited, how people find us and what they search for here. It does not tell us who you are.
Advertising, only if you allow it
- The Meta Pixel (Facebook and Instagram), Claritas, an ad measurement service, and Google’s advertising features help us share Westbury with families online and see which ads work.
- We keep these tools off our admissions, tuition, visit, giving and application pages, our search results and every page with a form, and we do not pass what you type into a form to advertisers.
- Our Instagram feed uses photos stored on our site until you allow advertising cookies.
How to opt out
- Choose Decline on the banner, or turn analytics or advertising off anytime under Cookie settings.
- Block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Our site also honors Global Privacy Control and Do Not Track signals.
- Google’s opt-out add-on is at tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout, and you can manage ad settings in your Facebook and Instagram accounts.
