We are pleased to introduce two more incredible members of the WCS 2026 senior class: Nataly Alvarez and Landon Harvey.

Meet Nataly Alvarez
For Nataly Alvarez, Westbury Christian School has been more than just a school—it’s been a place where she’s grown in knowledge, confidence, and faith. Her favorite class was history because of the environment that brought it to life. “I loved the environment,” she said. “It made learning enjoyable.” She also credits Coach Holly as a key influence, sharing that “he showed me what living for God looks like.”
One of Nataly’s proudest moments was earning all A’s during her junior year, an achievement that reflected her hard work and focus. But even more meaningful was her spiritual growth, which led to Nataly’s baptism this year. Her advice to younger students is heartfelt: “Stay consistent with reading your Bible. Don’t give up.”
Nataly’s favorite memories are playing soccer with friends and taking part in Homecoming Week. She describes WCS as a community that “feels like family” and says her biggest encourager was her friend Evelyn, who exemplified hard work.
Nataly aims to pursue a career in pre-law, driven by her passion for learning and leadership. She’s eager to see how God may use her to impact others’ lives, and she looks forward to returning to cheer on her fellow Wildcats. If she could leave a message for future students, it would be this: “Don’t give up on your dreams, no matter how big they are.”

Introducing Landon Harvey
Landon Harvey has made his mark at WCS, from coding and creativity to basketball and theater. One of his favorite classes, AP Computer Science, opened his eyes to a whole new side of technology and creativity. “I was introduced to a new coding website and a new form of coding,” he said. “It really sparked something for me.”
When it comes to the teachers who influenced his journey, Landon mentions Mr. Echols, Coach Hawley, and Mrs. Hatfield. “They see how down-to-earth I truly am, and they love my ideas and designs,” he shared. Their encouragement helped him grow both academically and personally. A notable academic moment was when he received his PSAT score.
Landon says his faith has grown stronger every year, deepened through chapel services and experiences that reinforced the truth of Proverbs: “In their hearts humans plan their course, but the Lord establishes their steps.” Landon describes his faith journey in three simple words — “Truth over trends.”
His favorite memories at WCS include performing in the talent show and the unforgettable Seniors vs. Teachers basketball game. Landon found connection and confidence through basketball and theater, two activities that helped him grow in teamwork and creativity. “It was my first time being part of a team in school and being accepted regardless of my skill,” he said. “I KNOW Coach Carr had a vision.”
One of his favorite memories is the first Hooptastic event, which he calls the “top gem” of his freshman year. If he had to describe his time at WCS in three words, Landon chose “Seasons of Seasons.” After graduation, Landon plans to pursue his passion as an artist and hopes to stay connected to the Wildcat community through visits and calls.
